A Moment with God: Watch Who You Walk With

Lord, as I pause in this moment with You, I’m reminded of how much I need You to guide my steps. Life can feel uncertain, and there are so many voices trying to pull me in different directions. But I know one thing for sure: I don’t want to walk with anyone but You.

I don’t want Satan in front of me, Lord—he’ll lead me down paths that take me away from Your truth. I don’t want him behind me, pushing me into fear, guilt, or anxiety until I stumble. And I certainly don’t want him beside me, whispering lies to make me believe he’s a friend when all he wants is to destroy me.

But You, Jesus, are the One I trust. Walk ahead of me and light my path. Walk behind me and catch me when I feel like falling. Walk beside me as my constant companion, reminding me that I am never alone. With You, I feel safe, loved, and free to take each step in faith.

Reflection: Lord, help me to always be mindful of who I’m walking with. Let my steps be guided by You, my heart be guarded by Your love, and my journey always bring me closer to You.
